How to configure automatic fax detection on a FRITZ!Box
Automatic fax detection will check whether or not an incoming call is a fax or a telephone call. Callers will then be able to leave a message and a fax will be forwarded to the fax function, which you can read about here.
How to Enable:
Before you continue, ensure that you have enabled the fax function of the FRITZ!Box.
- First, open up the FRITZ!Box user interface. Open the Telephony menu.
- From the Telephony menu, open the Telephony Devices menu.
- Select the “Edit” button (This will look like a pencil) to edit the fax function settings.
- Now select the “Help” button. This will redirect you to a help page.
- Follow the instructions on the help page. These will help you to set up automatic fax detection.
